PROJECT TYPE: Structural Steel

PROJECT STATUS: Complete

PROJECT DESCRIPTION: BMO Tower, the newest addition to the Milwaukee skyline, has been meticulously designed to deliver the next generation of workplace to the region. The building will offer 380,000 square feet of space over 25 stories. The first 10 stories are a concrete parking structure and retail space. On top of that stands 15 stories of structural steel office space.

With our recent success building the Northwestern Mutual Tower and the 833 E Michigan Tower, CSE was contracted early to assist in the design to optimize the cost of the steel structure as well as optimize the schedule. Through expert planning and Southeast Wisconsin’s best ironworkers, CSE was able to finish the steel structure two months ahead of schedule. CSE fabricated and erected 2,587 tons (3,100 pieces) of steel and erected 508 tons of steel decking and 12 stairs totaling 1,300 steps in the Tower.

“The good news is steel erection (got us back) on time. The hard work and the artistry of the men and women who are building the project is simply amazing.” – Mark Irgens
